Bringing a New Meaning to Crown Town

Royals are delighted to share the next steps for the design of our new downtown ballpark in the heart of Kansas City.

With help from Populous, the new home of Royals baseball will feel excitingly new and comfortably familiar, featuring even more fountains, a larger CrownVision scoreboard, a canopy for summertime shade, and 80% of seats between the foul poles, bringing our fans closer to the action on the field. With accessibility by foot, bike, bus, KC Streetcar, and thousands of nearby parking spots, this will become a crown jewel destination for fans across the Kansas City metro.

This will be the best neighborhood ballpark in the country. And we can’t wait to deliver the best fan experience in Major League Baseball.
